Some students from each grade level will be selected to paint a bench on Saturday, May 4, 2019
during Sharefest Workday at Sheridan Street School.

Sending a heartfelt thanks to everyone who made Saturday’s El Circulo Familiar Playshop #1 a success. A lot of work went into this success, and we extend our gratitude to all who helped. The morning started off with the BOTS student and one parent completing the pre-intervention survey, breakfast provided by Joan Ganz Cooney Center, then Professor Alison Trope (USC Annenberg School of Journalism and Communication; Director of the Critical Media Project) offered a workshop on identity in culture, especially stereotypes in technology. Next Sandra and Pablo led the PBS Playshop, followed by a raffle by Mr. Amparan and lunch from PBS SoCal.

Congratulations to our Robotics team for placing 5th in our first year of competition. Over twenty schools participated this year and we were two places away from making the State Finals. Way to go Mighty Owls!

3rd to 6th grade English Learners at Sheridan had an opportunity to participate in a Winter Enrichment Program for a week. They enjoyed hands on science projects, createed a cartoon character, toured USC and enjoyed time at the Science Center.
